We’ve reached the last day of NaNoWriMo 2016. Did you accomplish what you wanted? Did you reach your goal? Are you happy with your final product?
If you answered no to any of the following questions, it’s okay. You are in no way, shape, or form a failure. Perfection is not what this journey is all about. It’s about getting out of your comfit zone, trying something new, and getting creative in a different way. It’s about the wrong turns you made that became right ones, and the lessons you learned that you can apply to your writing the other eleven months of the year. Don’t let what you didn’t accomplish stop you from writing. You are only a true failure if you never pick up the pen again.
This is not the end. This is only the beginning.
A new chapter awaits.
Write like no one is reading.
