Between our phones and social media, we’re inundated with a constant stream of communication. It’s addictive. We spend hours checking our feeds and updating our feeds, so we don’t miss out on anything. Our minds are constantly buzzing. We feel anxious if we don’t check in. It’s overwhelming, and, at times, downright depressing.nIt’s gotten to the point that we have hard time truly just being alone.
Maybe it’s time to disconnect. Turn off your phone. Leave it a home. Go for a walk. Sit by the lake. Head to a local park. Find a quiet place and read a book. Let your mind wander.
Just enjoy your own company.
Your feeds can wait until tomorrow.
