Who says only women can be witches? Representing for all the male witches out there are The Sons of Ipswich from the 2006 film The Covenant. Caleb Danvers (Steven Strait), Pogue Parry (Taylor Kitsch), Tyler Simms (Chace Crawford), and Reid Garwin (Toby Hemingway) are direct descendants of the families of the Salem Witch Trials who were real, practicing witches. They partially get their powers at thirteen and ascend to full power at eighteen. However, power comes with a price. Each time they invoke their powers, they shorten their own lifespan. Although, these bad boys would much rather use them to impress girls, win pool games, and dodge the cops. Leader Caleb does his best to keep the others in line, but things get complicated when a long-lost son, Chase Collins (Sebastian Stan), bursts onto the scene hellbent on taking Caleb out. Good thing these boys know how to fight. They’ll do whatever it takes to protect the people they care about, even if it means risking their own lives.
Hot, protective and full of witchy powers, what more could a girl ask for?
