It’s World Book Day!

I could never conceive of a world without books. I am one of those people who can spend hours walking among the shelves of Barnes and Noble over going to a clothing store. I love their smell, their texture, and the anticipation that comes with discovering a new author for the first time. Books let all of us travel to distant lands and time periods, step into someone else’s shoes, and go on adventures when we are forced to be still. They have the power to teach us lessons, help us grow, and change the way we view the world around us.
